Walking off the Christmas excess! Camminando l'eccesso di Natale|

Walking off the Christmas excess seemed a good idea when I departed a very sunny Stresa.. The photo of the Mediterranean looking palms and the Victorian houses are tucked away behind the station, going towards Carciano a road I seldom use but full of interesting houses and some very impressive villas. At this juncture I left the road and followed the trail towards Someraro, and then finally  upwards towards Levo. The views over the lake were disappointing being misty clad and bleak ,the mountains grey and foreboding  You can glimpse Isola Pescatore and Isola Bella's outline some 500 mts below. Bathed in perspiration and feeling the chill damp air I opted to descend, or rather Pepper decided pulling hard on his lead clearly motivated by the prospect of all that turkey meat left over from New Years day.
 Camminando l'eccesso di Natale sembrava una buona idea quando ho lasciato una Stresa molto soleggiata .. La foto del Mediterraneo alla ricerca palme e le case vittoriane sono nascosti dietro la stazione, andando verso Carciano una strada che uso raramente, ma pieno di case interessanti e alcune ville molto impressionante. A questo punto ho lasciato la strada e seguii il sentiero verso Someraro, e infine verso l'alto verso Levo. La vista sul lago sono stati deludenti essere rivestito nebbiosa e desolante, le montagne grigie e presentimento È possibile intravedere Isola Pescatore e contorno di Isola Bella di circa 500 metri al di sotto. Immerso in sudorazione e la sensazione di freddo aria umida ho scelto di scendere, o meglio Pepper deciso di tirare con forza la sua leadership chiaramente motivata dalla prospettiva di tutto ciò che la carne di tacchino rimasto da Capodanno giorno.
