A warm welcome to Serena and Marco from Bergamo visiting Stresa for it's famous Music Festival.
The orchestral performance was excellent, but outside the heavens opened! With an abundance of rain, day and night for almost two days.
It was a pleasure to make your acquaintance and we hope that you will return when the weather and the scenery are better. The Autumn is spectacular with the forests transformed into a rich tapestry of colours, bright reds, golds, and yellows, a fabulous display, highlighted by a backdrop of snow covered mountains.
Un caloroso benvenuto a Serena e Marco da Bergamo a Stresa per il suo famoso Festival di Musica.
La performance orchestrale era eccellente, ma al di fuori dei cieli è stato aperto! Con abbondanza di pioggia, giorno e notte per quasi due giorni.
È stato un piacere fare la tua conoscenza e speriamo che tornerai quando il tempo e il paesaggio sono migliori. L'autunno è spettacolare con le foreste trasformate in un ricco tappezzeria di colori, rossi luminosi, oro e gialli, un display favoloso, evidenziato da un contesto di montagne coperte di neve.

A fabulous sunny September day, with good visibility, but hordes of tourists. It was Sunday so I think it was to be expected. The crowds did not detract from the majestic mountains, and the stunning beauty of the Lakes and the numerous little towns we passed along the way. Fabulous day out, hopefully providing happy memories for our guests.

Una favolosa giornata soleggiata di settembre, con buona visibilità, ma orde di turisti. Era domenica e credo che ci si aspetterebbe. La folla non si è allontanata dalle maestose montagne e dalla splendida bellezza dei laghi e delle numerose cittadine che abbiamo passato lungo la strada. Favoloso giorno fuori, speriamo di offrire felici ricordi per i nostri ospiti.

Sally and her sister Carole and husband Denzil all from South Africa, enjoy the delights of Lake Maggiore in the September sunshine.Sally e il sua sorella Carole e il marito Denzil tutto dal Sudafrica, godono le delizie del Lago Maggiore nel sole di settembre.

For Sally Italy has been her home for many months each year travelling with her husband Gray mostly staying in the Tuscany region. Sadly Grays untimely death recently has left a terrible loss for Sally but she so wanted to share this pre -planned trip with Denzil as this is his first visit to Italy and I suspect not the last.
Sally e il sua sorella Carole e il marito Denzil tutto dal Sudafrica, godono le delizie del Lago Maggiore nel sole di settembre.
Per Sally Italia è stata la sua casa per molti mesi ogni anno viaggiando con il marito Gray per lo più rimanendo nella regione Toscana. Purtroppo la morte di Grays morti prematuramente ha lasciato una terribile perdita per Sally ma lei voleva così condividere questo viaggio pre-pianificato con Denzil perché questa è la sua prima visita in Italia e sospetto non l'ultimo.
