After the appalling wet weather in both the Spring and the Summer of this year..(2014) untold damage and destruction to the local forests is just becoming evident. Added to the trees broken limbs, we are now witnessing fungal infections which thrive in these current humid conditions. To literally try and stop the rot, hundreds of trees have been pruned back with almost surgical precision. Whilst the vista looks very severe at the moment, I'm quite sure that given a year the whole area will be restored to good health, and the appearance could actually enhance the village approach.
 Dopo la pioggia terribile sia la primavera e l'estate di quest'anno .. (2014) danni incalcolabili e la distruzione delle foreste locali è solo diventando evidente. Aggiunto agli arti alberi rotti, stiamo assistendo infezioni fungine che prosperano in queste condizioni umide correnti. Per cercare letteralmente e fermare il marciume, centinaia di alberi sono stati potati indietro con precisione quasi chirurgica. Mentre la vista sembra molto grave in questo momento, sono abbastanza sicuro che, dato un anno l'intera area verrà ripristinato a una buona salute, e la comparsa potrebbe effettivamente migliorare l'approccio villaggio.
