Winter arrived in the high mountains last night and by contrast my neighbour is planting his vegetables ready for Spring. His garden overlooks Lake Maggiore and is a source of great envy!
Down on the Lake there is much activity today with Yamaha speedboats buzzing up and down in a marketing exercise! Here at La Casa del Giardiniere we prepare for new guests arriving from America's Cornell University.
 Inverno è arrivato nella notte scorsa alte montagne e invece il mio vicino sta piantando le sue verdure pronto per la primavera. Il suo giardino si affaccia sul Lago Maggiore ed è una fonte di grande invidia!
