Unorthodox planting..but why confine, give it some freedom to express!
Generally where a plant chooses to grow, and flourish, will always be part of its own preference. It knows how to optimize it's potential.
Maybe we should just accept the plants wisdom, and stand back and appreciate the beauty of a vegetable's form, it's spectacular leaves. In the gardens setting it can look quite exotic.
And the big bonus is it makes harvesting so easy, with the fruits being so accessable.

In generale sono le piante a  scegliere dove crescere e prosperare.  
Sanno come ottimizzare il loro potenziale.
Forse dovremmo semplicemente accettare la saggezza delle piante, e fare un passo indietro ad apprezzare la bellezza di una forma di verdura, e foglie spettacolari nella cornice del giardino che può sembrare piuttosto esotica.
E il grande vantaggio è che rende la raccolta semplice, con i frutti così accessibile.
