February a bright, sunny dry start to the year, in a world blighted by a dark uncertainty. Febbraio un inizio d'anno luminoso, soleggiato e asciutto, in un mondo segnato da un'oscura incertezza.

In a world blighted by economic uncertainty the consequence of futile wars, and the subsequent human suffering that effects us all deeply. One must questions this dark period that we are all living through, made worse by the devastating loss of life in recent earthquakes.        Today is a bright sunny day on Lake Maggiore distanced and detached from the harsh reality and suffering of so many,it allows a brief moment to reflect and to be grateful for the peace, tranquility and beauty of this world. I pray that as the months unfold this year will see some stability , sanity, and purpose for us all to grasp with much needed optimism. I have added a few photograhs that capture this serenity.                                                                                  

 In un mondo segnato dall'incertezza economica, conseguenza di futili guerre, e dalla conseguente sofferenza umana che colpisce profondamente tutti noi. Bisogna interrogarsi su questo periodo oscuro che tutti stiamo vivendo, aggravato dalla devastante perdita di vite umane nei recenti terremoti. Oggi è una luminosa giornata di sole sul Lago Maggiore, lontana e distaccata dalla dura realtà e dalla sofferenza di tanti, permette un breve momento per riflettere ed essere grati per la pace, la tranquillità e la bellezza di questo mondo. Prego che con lo svolgersi dei mesi quest'anno vedrà un po 'di stabilità, sanità mentale e scopo per tutti noi da afferrare con il tanto necessario ottimismo.
