Most of our guests only see Penny as she meets and greets them on arrival. Disappearing in a cloud of dust at mid day to instill posture and decorum into aspiring young classical dances.  I thought this image was worthy of circulation as it has interest for all. 

La maggior parte dei nostri ospiti solo vedere Penny mentre si incontra e li saluta all'arrivo. Scomparendo in una nuvola di polvere a metà giornata di instillare la postura e decoro in aspiranti giovani danze classiche. Ho pensato che questa immagine fosse degno di circolazione, che abbia un interesse per tutti.

Evening arrives in Brisino, stupendous! ...Sera arriva a Brisino, stupenda! .

I've been living in these magnificent 'hills' for almost 8 years now, and still they have this flirtacious charm,an irresistibile allure, that's become addictive.Ever day I pack my camera like a newly arrived tourist.
  I simply never tire of the captivating views,or the  forever changing light. I do wish more of our guests would consider 'winter breaks' I am convinced the experience would be 'life changing' and irreversable.
Ho vissuto in questi magnifici «monti» per quasi 8 anni, e ancora hanno questo fascino flirtacious, un fascino irresistibile, che è diventato dipendenza.
 Ogni giorno mi porto la mia macchina fotografica come un turista appena arrivato.!  Ho semplicemente stanco mai di affascinanti vedute, o la luce sempre mutevole. Vorrei che più dei nostri ospiti lo considero 'vacanze invernali' Sono convinto l'esperienza sarebbe 'che cambia la vita' e irreversibile.

Our makeshift bivouac is a star attraction for some of our" house guests"./Il nostro bivacco di fortuna è un attrazione principale per alcuni dei nostri "ospiti" della casa.

With plummeting temperatures, and overnight snow, our furry friends seek refuge in our makeshift bivouac.At least on the balcony they can view the daily activities. Their normal winter quarters are bunk beds in the garage, with coordinating duvets!
Con temperature crollo, e la neve durante la notte, i nostri amici a quattro zampe cercano rifugio nel nostro bivouac.At fortuna almeno sul balcone si possono visualizzare le attività quotidiane. I loro quartieri invernali normali sono letti a castello nel garage, con piumoni di coordinamento!

A circular tour this late afternoon,trying to capture the fast fading light.The first distant scene is Comnago a beautiful hilltop encampment as viewed across a great yawning chasm to the approaches to Massino Visconti.
Interestingly it belongs to the municipality of Lesa, the lakeside gem, close to Solcio. And supports a habitation of 86 lucky souls, although I suspect the numbers swell, when Milanese holiday homes are taken into account.
Un tour circolare questo tardo pomeriggio, cercando di catturare il veloce dissolvenza light.The prima scena è lontana Comnago un accampamento collina bella come visto attraverso un grande abisso sbadigliando agli approcci di Massino Visconti.

È interessante notare che appartiene al comune di Lesa, la gemma sul lago, vicino a Solcio. E supporta una abitazione di 86 anime fortunate, anche se ho il sospetto i numeri si gonfiano, quando case milanesi sono presi in considerazione.

Before climbing up to the Sanctuary, you will see on your left the small church of Saint Roch in Invorio Superiore, where mass is celebrated only once a year on August 16, the day of its patron saint’s commemoration. Until quite recently, the tradition of blessing the domestic and farm animals was carried out during the morning service. Following the same path, you will find the Invorio Superiore parish church, constructed after 1450 on the remains of a subsequently reworked Visconti fortress, and dedicated to Saint James.
In 1865 the parish priest Don G. Ottone decided to have the presbytery’s floor renovated; today it hosts an elegant star-shaped mosaic. From here, you can follow the marked street to the left to reach the shrine. Its location allows for a view of the built-up area of Ghevio, with its bell tower/tower, the village of Colazza, the Tiasca Valley that leads to Meina, and the same semi-hidden Invorio tower. The second floor provides a view of the Vergante as far as Nebbiuno.
The small church was originally dedicated to Saint Mary Elizabeth and was also known as the Sanctuary of the Girdle because of a painting inside of the Madonna throwing her girdle to the apostle Thomas during her assumption into the sky.
Still today it is used to follow the procession of torches that accompanies the statue in procession. The presbytery that contains the elegant black marble main altar with inlaid polychrome decoration was built on the ruins of the central tower.
A beautiful wooden statue of Mary handing over her Sacred Girdle while holding up the Baby Jesus with her left hand sits in a niche carved into the wall near the altar. In 1867 a small “hospice” designed for the appointed guardians of the church, two Franciscans from the Mesma convent, was added behind it. The same year the chancel and presbytery vault decorations, with the image of Madonna and the Girdle surrounded by angels in the clouds, were added to the church. In July 1901 two statues, of Saint Joachim and Saint Anna, were placed to either side of the statue of the Virgin.
Accessible by car up a narrow dirt road, or by walking for about an hour on foot along a pleasant path through the woods that starts from the parish church.

Santuario della Madonna del CastelloInvorioPrima di salire al Santuario, vedrete sulla vostra sinistra la piccola chiesa di San Rocco a Invorio Superiore, dove si celebra la messa solo una volta all'anno il 16 agosto, il giorno della commemorazione suo santo patrono. Fino a poco tempo, la tradizione di benedire gli animali domestici e la fattoria è stata effettuata durante il servizio di mattina. Seguendo lo stesso percorso, si trova la chiesa parrocchiale di Invorio Superiore, costruita dopo il 1450 sui resti di una fortezza successivamente rielaborato Visconti, e dedicata a San Giacomo.Nel 1865 il parroco don G. Ottone decise di pavimento del presbiterio ristrutturato, oggi ospita un elegante mosaico a forma di stella. Da qui, si può seguire la strada marcata a sinistra per raggiungere il santuario. La sua posizione permette una vista del centro abitato di Ghevio, con il suo campanile / torre di guardia, il paese di Colazza, la Valle Tiasca che porta a Meina, e lo stesso semi-nascosta torre di Invorio. Il secondo piano offre una vista del Vergante fino a Nebbiuno.La piccola chiesa era originariamente dedicata a Santa Maria Elisabetta ed era noto anche come il Santuario della Cintola a causa di una verniciatura interna della Madonna gettare la cintura a l'apostolo Tommaso durante la sua assunzione in cielo.Ancora oggi viene utilizzato per seguire la processione di torce che accompagna la statua in processione. Nel luglio 1901, due statue di San Gioacchino e Sant'Anna, sono stati collocati ai lati della statua della Vergine.Raggiungibile in automobile su una strada sterrata stretta, oppure a piedi per circa un'ora a piedi lungo un piacevole percorso attraverso i boschi che parte dalla chiesa parrocchiale.Aperto solo durante le funzioni.

Con la neve sulla strada, il negozio legno è ora impilati dal pavimento al soffitto. E gli scaffali dispensa hanno circa una fornitura mesi.
Quindi siamo pronti al peggio ...
